The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Nagaon University is primarily dedicated to strengthening and sustaining internal quality across academic, administrative, and support systems of the University. In accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the IQAC bears the responsibility of planning, guiding, and monitoring quality enhancement initiatives within the institution.

The core objective of the IQAC is to act as a facilitating and coordinating mechanism for the integration of various academic and administrative activities of the University, and to institutionalize best practices aimed at delivering quality education and services to all stakeholders.

Recognizing the significance of Internal Quality Assurance Systems (IQAS), the IQAC of Nagaon University has consistently endeavoured to systematize processes that lead to continuous quality improvement. The Cell also acknowledges that quality enhancement is most effective when it is decentralized rather than confined to a single nodal body. Accordingly, activity heads and committees are constituted for different domains, each functioning as an independent team while aligning with the overall quality framework of the University.
