Nagaon University
It is an exhilarating moment for the people of Nagaon and entire Assam that Nowgong College (Autonomous) has now been upgraded to Nagaon University. In the Nagaon University Act of 2023, it is declared that Nowgong College (Autonomous) has been upgraded to Nagaon University to constitute and establish a teaching, research-oriented, affiliating and semi-residential university which will incorporate an Open and Distance Learning Centre.
