    Two student groups from the Department of Economics have been awarded projects under the ICSSR Yuva Shodh Pratibha Scheme, marking a significant achievement in undergraduate research.

    It is a matter of immense pride for Nagaon University that two student groups have been awarded projects under the prestigious ICSSR Yuva Shodh Pratibha Scheme: Youth and Decolonisation, aimed at empowering students of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) under NEP 2020.

    The selected projects are led by Shreya Sarkar, under the guidance of Dr. Tiken Das, and Jeba Samiha Ahmed, under the guidance of Dr. Mrinal Saikia.

    This is a significant achievement for the Department of Economics, reflecting its commitment to nurturing research aptitude and encouraging undergraduate students to engage in meaningful scholarly pursuits. The recognition also marks an important step towards strengthening a vibrant culture of research and innovation at Nagaon University.
